Answer: Yes, depending on the performance requirements, powerful processor variants are available in a housing suitable for DIN rail mounting and are specially designed for automation and IoT solutions

Question How can additionally inputs and outputs be implemented on your control solution?
Answer: The Automation-Line (AL) can be easily expanded via multifunction I/O modules. The I/O modules can be controlled via the CAN bus and up to 16 modules can be connected. Control units are connected to compact I/O modules via EtherCAT or CANOpen. If required, individual I/O modules can be tailored to your requirements. 

Question: Can the Control Units be individually expanded?
Answer: Yes, the CU Mini control units can be expanded with customer-specific modules via the system connector, thus enabling extremely cost-effective and rapid adaptation to your individual requirements.
